From Part II Chapter 9 Strive To Evolve or Struggle to Survive
By T.L. Dayen
Compassion, Cooperation, Compromise and Community
As depressing as the fate of humanity within the animal mind image of reality is, Stewart and I have spent a great deal of time talking about the crucial importance of “creational consciousness” to the survival of humanity. We have identified it as the female creational consciousness of compassion, cooperation, compromise and community. This is in fact the entire premise and basis of The Female Imperative. Had I not co-authored this book, as a reader at this point I would have indeed learned a great deal about the history and present state of the male ego and the image tactics it uses to dominate; about the history and present state of all levels and degrees of female oppression; and about how the male ego is destroying our planet, and ourselves in the process. But what really is creational consciousness? Creational consciousness is that which supports “life.” The Female Imperative is making the statement that only the evolution of human consciousness – collectively – can manifest collective God consciousness. In other words, only through the collective conscious acknowledgment that our two male and female halves are in fact one human whole – in consciousness.
Animal mind has, until now, been successful in sequestering our male and female consciousness into our male and female bodies, through religious, cultural, political, and social gender [sex] division, and subsequent assignment of their ‘place’ and ‘purpose’ within the animal mind human condition. With the male ‘body’ naturally being of greater physical (muscle) strength, the male consciousness has, until now, been successfully dominant. This has born the destructive, superior “male ego.” By releasing the human female from global male oppression and subordination, we can finally release female creational consciousness. Once humanity makes this crucial step, the male ego can only dissolve, and human consciousness can finally begin to evolve. This may sound ridiculously simple, but TFI has made the case that the male ego cannot exist within compassion, cooperation, compromise and community – “equilibrium.”
Female Creational Consciousness
Compassion is defined as “the sympathetic consciousness of others’ distress together with a desire to alleviate it.” I would also more broadly define compassion as “the ability to understand and cooperate with circumstances beyond ‘personal’ experience.” We can have compassion for one another individually, and we can have compassion for each other collectively. We can of course have compassion for the animal kingdom, but we can also have compassion for the plant and mineral kingdoms; their functions and relationship to each other, to the Earth and to their role in our human survival. Compassion requires individual will.
Compassion facilitates respect and understanding (knowledge) of what is real and true; not just that which we would “choose” to see, to know, and to understand in order to only benefit ourselves. Compassion is “creational” because it supports “life.” Synonymous with compassion is sympathy, empathy, concern, kindness, consideration, care and benevolence. The opposite of compassion supports death: coldness, incomprehension, indifference, cruelty, thoughtlessness and malevolence. If we are choosing leaders in business, finance, governance, sustenance and energy that are NOT “compassionate,” then we are choosing leaders who are NOT supporting life; and we are supporting, in fact choosing, death.
Cooperation is defined as “the process of individuals, groups or entities working or acting together for their common/mutual benefit.” I would also more broadly define cooperation as “to understand and acknowledge that goals and benefits are more likely to be achieved with willing assistance.” We can cooperate with one another individually, and we can cooperate with one another collectively. We can also cooperate with the natural world; her chemical and nutrient cycles and systems that we rely upon to stay alive. Cooperation can also simply be the absence of interference. Cooperation requires collective will.
Cooperation facilitates humility; a willingness to admit vulnerability and ask for help. It increases the likelihood of successful endeavor beyond only that which we could achieve alone. Cooperation is “creational” because it supports “life.” Synonymous with cooperation is collaboration, assistance, help, support, teamwork, and mutual aid. The opposite of cooperation supports death: stoppage, burden, difficulty, hindrance, obstruction and limitation. If we are choosing leaders in business, finance, governance, sustenance and energy that are NOT “cooperative,” then we are choosing leaders who are NOT supporting life; and we are supporting, in fact choosing, death.
Compromise is defined as “an agreement between opposing parties to settle a dispute or reach a settlement in which each gives some ground, rather than continue the dispute.” I would also more broadly define compromise as “equitable sacrifice that brings productive resolution rather than insular egocentrism that maintains unproductive inertia.” We can compromise with one another individually, and we can compromise with one another collectively. We can also compromise with the natural world in the understanding that Earth’s resources do not exclusively exist for personal profit, but are in fact a necessary component in humanity’s environmental life support systems. Compromise requires reciprocal will.
Compromise facilitates both compassion and cooperation. The ability to compromise increases the likelihood of successful resolution even when obstacles to resolution may be present. It engenders a “win/win” outcome that may have otherwise resulted in a “win/lose.” Compromise is “creational” because it supports “life.” Synonymous with compromise is negotiation, conciliation, agreement, resolution, deal and cooperation. The opposite of compromise supports death: confrontation, hostility, opposition, conflict, resistance and defiance. If we are choosing leaders in business, finance, governance, sustenance and energy that are NOT “compromising,” then we are choosing leaders who are NOT supporting life; and we are supporting, in fact choosing, death.
Community is defined as a “unified body of individuals with common interests living in a particular area.” I would more broadly define community as “unified individuals whose communal civic experience accentuates common interests and concerns while respecting and celebrating their cohesive diversity.” Our communities are as small as the block or building, or as large as the planet on which we live. In fact, the planet is itself a community of organisms with shared interests in the symbiotic function of Earth’s natural life support systems. Community is the synergy of individual will and collective need.
Compassion, cooperation and compromise all facilitate a healthy and thriving community. A healthy community produces physically, mentally and psychologically healthy people. Community is “creational” because it supports “life.” Synonymous with community is free, open, unrestricted, kinship, unity and identity. The opposite of community supports death: separation, segregation, remoteness, loneliness, isolation and seclusion. If we are choosing leaders in business, finance, governance, sustenance and energy that are NOT supporting our “communities,” then we are choosing leaders who are NOT supporting life; and we are supporting, in fact choosing, death.
If you’ll notice, the Four C’s have been described here in somewhat of a repetitive “mantra.” This is intentional. Since the dawn of time, mankind as a whole has been, for the most part, primarily anti-compassion, anti-cooperation, anti-compromise and anti-community – “anti-life.” The Four C’s must be a powerfully definitive seed-thought to counter the abiding egocentric consciousness of animal mind. TFI is also calling upon humanity to seek out these terms and the concepts they represent as a gauge to measure those who would wish to lead our nations, run our businesses, forge our industry, provide and administer our sustenance and energy, and control our financial markets on our behalf. By choosing compassion, cooperation, compromise and community, what begins as individual will, leads to collective motive and ultimately manifests as the cohesive synergy of individual diversity; or as The Female Imperative calls, “equilibrium” – the evolution of human consciousness.
Creative Male and Creational Female “Consciousness”
Female creational consciousness is the womb of human mind. However, a womb without a seed is barren. Human mind can only manifest through the equilibrium of male and female consciousness (God consciousness). Female is creational and male is creative. They are the two polar halves of the one whole that comprise “human” consciousness; what TFI has identified as “human mind.” In Chapter eight, we charted the human mind male creative consciousness (p.200) and its animal mind male ego counterpart in the absence of female creational consciousness. You’ll notice from this and the ‘equilibrium’ chart below, that in the absence of female creational consciousness, “decisive, motivated, pragmatic and productive” becomes “dominating, egocentric, exploitive and apathetic.” The male ego of animal mind can only exist in the absence of female creational consciousness maintained through gender [sex] division, and the oppression, objectification, subordination and marginalization of the human female.
Male Female Male Female
Creative Creational Creative Creational
Decisive Compassion > Motivated Cooperation >
Pragmatic Compromise > Productive Community
Without compassion, decisiveness becomes domination. Without willing cooperation, we are nothing more than a collective of personally motivated egocentric narcissists. Without the ability to compromise, a pragmatic individual is simply apathetic and uncaring. And without a sense of community, productivity is only achieved through the exploitation of people and resources. This paints a pretty clear picture of our world in the absence of female creational consciousness, steeped within the animal mind male ego image of reality.
As the womb of human mind, female creational consciousness requires the activation of individual will; specifically, the will of the human male – male creative consciousness. Creational consciousness without creative consciousness to manifest human mind is nothing but dissolute indolent inertia and distrait superficial voracity. We have been limping toward human mind and evolution for thousands of years, but frankly, the animal mind male ego is gaining in strength and intensity. As a collective we’re reaching the zenith of available time and resources. But we’ll never begin to deconstruct the animal mind image of reality that maintains female oppression and creational consciousness if we’re not unequivocally clear on how it is constructed in the first place.
Animal Mind Oppression of Female Creational Consciousness
- Divide and maintain the division of whole human consciousness into it two polar halves of explicitly male and explicitly female consciousness.
- Sequester these two polar halves of human consciousness into the human gender bodies of the man and the women.
- Divide and maintain this polarity of humanity through gender appropriation of purpose, function [roles] and value.
- Declare the male [ego] and its host as the “superior” entity and authority.
- Use the physical strength of the male body to forcefully mandate these gender polarities’ as superior [dominant] / inferior [subordinate], and regulate their divisions through socially constructed images.
- Use the physical strength of the male body to enforce its superiority through domination and exploitation of the weaker [subordinate] female human body for sex and servitude.
- Use the physical strength of the male body to enforce domination over each another for global and personal power and control.
- Use global and personal power and control to exploit and amass resources for more power and control.
The Three Core Socially Constructed Animal Mind Images
Images of Superiority and Natural Order – The Human Animal
- the classification and division of gender, race, religion, income and class
- division of purpose, value and social and sexual roles
- dominate through divide and conquer
Images of Freedom, Success and Evolution – Greed
- humanity must struggle to survive, not strive to evolve.
- Evolution is not a collective endeavor for survival.
- Evolution is winning the individual battle to survive.
- Social Darwinism, and the acceptance of collateral loss of life or quality of life
Image of Human Purpose – Religion
- God is He and he is God. She is subordinate and submissive to He.
- God is external, and only death brings spiritual ascension to God.
- Spiritual ascension in death is only achieved through primordial dogma in life.
- Humanity must battle for their God and their God’s edict.
- Life on Earth is temporal and of no eternal consequence.
